How did you feel when you heard you would be hosting Project Runway SA?
I was overwhelmed and excited, but most importantly, grateful for the opportunity.
Tell us about your relationship with fashion.
I live and breathe fashion. I haven’t always been vocal about it but I’ve always let my clothes do the talking. I love trying out new trends and creating my own. I’m also now exploring more local designers.
What’s better – arriving at a party underdressed or overdressed?
Overdressed. You always have to leave people talking… You can’t do that when you’re underdressed.
Believe it or not, I’m a huge fan of reality shows, Nat Geo Wild and CSI programmes.
Who are your style icons?
Victoria Beckham and Rihanna
Did the contestants’ talent exceed your expectations?
I was blown away. I still can’t believe how much undiscovered talent there is in our country.
Are you a heels or sneakers girl?
Most definitely a heels girl.
Big night out or big night in?
Big night in. I’m always out because of my job.
Sunglasses, although I sometimes lose them!
What’s next after Project Runway SA?
I take each day as it comes. I believe God has a written plan for me, and I’m a firm believer that the sky is not the limit.
