Can I have an Edgars Club membership on my Edgars Thank U account as well as purchase on my Thank U cash card?
No, customers cannot buy two products at the same time. The point of sale system will revert to advise that the customer already has a membership.
Do I still get an Edgars Club membership card?
Yes, it is very important that you receive a membership card and that the unique membership number is loaded onto the system.
Does my membership start the moment that I have purchased my new Edgars Club product?
The product enrolment date will be the date the customer enrolled / subscribed to the product, however, it can take up to 48 hours for the membership card to be live on the system. Please wait 48 hours before taking you new Edgars Club card to Ster-Kinekor for activation.
What if I wish to cancel my Edgars Club membership?
If youwish to cancel, all you need to do is bring your till slip into the store within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. However, it is important to note that after 31 days, there is no refund. This applies to 3, 6 and 12 months cash Edgars Club packages.
Are all benefits available on all Edgars Club packages?
No, the funeral benefit is not available on the 3-month package as a customer has to have paid the full amount for 3 consecutive months for it to be valid. This would not be possible on the 3-month package. This means that the funeral benefit will be honoured on the month-to-month account membership and the 6 and 12 month cash Edgars Club packages.

For funeral claims, is there any difference in terms of a member being paid out between an Account holder and a Edgars Club cash member?
No, there is no difference. The process stays exactly the same in terms of claims.
Can I join online?
Not at this stage, you can only join in-store and the staff member will explain all the benefits of being an Edgars Club member.
Is the Edgars Club cash payment option available outside of South Africa?
No, the cash payment option to join Edgars Club is not available outside of South Africa, only the account option is available.
