The Play That Goes Wrong at Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre & Studio

The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society is putting on a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong… does! The accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!

In the words of Pieter Toerien – “The PLAY THAT GOES WRONG is the FUNNIEST play I have EVER seen!”

Described by theatre audiences as Fawlty Towers meets Noises Off – this new hit comedy has won every major award on the London stage – and now it’s coming to our shores with a saving for our Club members!

The South African production of The Play That Goes Wrong will be directed by none other than the comedic genius of Alan Committie!

Make sure you get yourself to Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre & Studio between 24 March and 30 April for one (or more) of the performances of The Play That Goes Wrong. Performances each Wednesday to Friday at 8pm, Saturdays at 5pm and Sundays at 3pm.

Joanna Lumley came out a recent London performance and said: “We laughed until the tears ran down our faces! It has to be seen!!!”
