Our favourite Tannie has left her Perron in the Swartland to grace a Joburg stage with Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout and the Kaktus of Separate Development. Show ends 11 June.
There’s no one as controversially funny and politically incorrect as Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout. We want to give you a good laugh, which is why Edgars Club members pay as little as R90 a ticket to see this fantastic, laugh-out-loud, one woman show! That’s a 10% saving on tickets!
Local is lekker, so get in the mood for this show by learning how to make rooibos rusks with Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout by watching this video:
This satire is based on the first show ever to be performed at Evita se Perron in Darling, Tannie Evita Praat Kaktus, which opened in 1995 and became the longest running show in South African history.
This time round, Evita Bezuidenhout fearlessly takes the audience on a Great Trek of South African history, from the arrival of the Drommedaris in 1652 to the swearing-in of Madiba in 1994, all in her trademark fabulous style.
Yes! I want to see Tannie Evita live at Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre & Studio
