Evita is one of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most iconic musicals, and it is coming to South Africa! The tale of Argentina’s First Woman, and her rise to power is told through much-loved songs, like Night of A Thousand Stars, Don’t Cry for Me Argentina, and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.

The legendary Broadway director, Harold Prince (West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret) who has won more Tony Awards than any other person in history, will be directing this South African production of Evita. “I am absolutely thrilled to be directing this original production of EVITA. I believe that it is Andrew and Tim’s finest work and audiences in South Africa are truly in for a treat.” says Prince.
