What is Run/Walk for Life?

Run/Walk for Life is a three-times-a-week exercise programme suitable for anyone, regardless of age or fitness level, with results that show from as little as three to six weeks. It’s as if you have your own personal trainer who will ensure that you’re exercising as effectively as possible to meet your goals!

It’s an ideal way to get yourself outside, socialise with some new people and get fit at the same time. Improving your fitness levels and expanding your social circle at the same time will make It easy to fit right in and get yourself on the road to your first race!

Did you know that if you are a Run/Walk for Life member and are going on holiday, you can attend a local branch while you are away? All you have to do is ask your branch leader to help you make the arrangements.

What is eatForLife?

eatForLife is an innovative, easy-to-use programme designed and administered by dieticians, and is ideal for anyone who wants to lose weight, improve their health and sustain their energy levels. The eatForLife programme is not based on a point system, nor do you have to weigh your food. The programme is based on complete nutrition, an active lifestyle and a balanced approach to living.

With eatForLife as your partner, they’ll help you create a personal eating plan to suit your individual goals and needs, which could be anything from weight loss to increased energy levels.  All the way through the programme, they will be there to help, support, advise and monitor your journey towards your goals.

The programme caters for the nutritional needs of both men and women, and is suitable for, teenagers, adults, vegetarians, people with high cholesterol and blood pressure, people with diabetes and those suffering from lactose or wheat intolerance, arthritis, gout and other ailments.
